The government will form a separate pay commission for teachers from primary school to university levels."A process for the commission has already been started," Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told reporters this morning after inaugurating a project titled 'Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project' at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel.

The University Grant Commission (UGC) organised the function to launch the five-year project, which will be implemented with financial support from the World Bank to enhance education quality at university level.
